i was wondering if could just put 4" lift coil springs in my 88 rangerxlt with out doin anything els like drop bracket just springs

Yep, need new axle brackets to use 4" springs.

Brandon, I'm running a "leveling" spring from skyjacker. 132x I believe. If you don't drop the axle pivot points, your not gonna be able to get the wheels lined up properly. Your camber is gonna be way out to lunch. Sorry to say this, but you are gonna have to get the brackets. Both the axle pivot and rad arm lowering brackets. Nice things is, if you get the four inch brackets and later decide you wanna go to a six inch lift, you can use the same brackets. All you would need to do is change your camber bushings.
