Does anybody have any pictures of a TTB era ranger with a 4 inch lift and 31x10.50 size tires on it? Reason being is that I want to do a lift but am to cheap to do bigger tires also and would like a picture on how it would look.

Thanks

I got it! I got it, there are dozens on this site but here is mine 4" Trailmaster with BigFoot X/T tires

Nice rig, looks awesome!

I was told that a 4in lift with 31x1.50s would look proportionally wacked, but your truck looks absolutely fine.

Guess I was told wrong, and I will go ahead with ordering my kit ASAP.

If I had not got it this way I would go with softer springs, I could probably put 3/4 to 1 ton in with no sag. Height in the front did not change when I put a 70lb winch on and a winch bumper (weight unknown). Even with the hard ride I do love my truck

were did you get the winch bumper it look good

Got it from a guy whose Ranger got stolen while the bumper was off to be painted, he said it came from a S-10 and was a old Warn bumper. Oh.... NO, sorry, it only cost me $250 .

The reason you were told that it would look proportionally weird is that pre '93 rangers had smaller wheel wells. Therefore, requiring more lift to fit the same tire size as a '93 on up truck. I have 33's on my 93 Ranger with only 2" lift.

You can fit 31's on a 93+ Ranger with no problems at all stock. Hell, alot of newer Rangers come FROM THE FACTORY with 31's.

31's and a 4" lift would look odd to say the least.

Here's my truck with the ~2" lift ( probably closer to 2.5" rear, and 1.5" front) with 33x12.5x15's on it.

I can get you a better picture if you want.
Just think of that, with more lift, and smaller tires, it isn't going to look good.

That is my opinion though. I would say slap 31's on it the way it is, or do the lift and put on some 33's.

Thanks

is this on your '96? or another truck?

those are on my '96

My truck has 31x10.50s on it right now, and no body lift. So a 4inch lift would make my tires look too small? Reason is that im to0 cheap to buy bigger tires if I end up getting a lift.

Maybe i will buy the kit but hold off installing it until i can afford larger tires. 33's anyone?

I used to have a 4 inch on my truck befor the 6 inch and on a mazda with a 4 inch lift you need to trim the front valance and the fender flair to fit
33\12.50s and they will still rub when flexing with the sway bar on. and i drove it with the stock tires for a few months it only looks dumb for a whial then you get used to it.

Thats what ppl are telling me now, but could it really look that bad? I have BFgoodrich all terrain k/os on there, so its not like they are total street tires.

What size were your stock tires when u had the 4 inch lift stomper97?
