4 inch lift with 31x10.50

Im thinkin the lift would look a little weird at first, but not bad after a while with 31x10.5 BFgoodrich all terrains. I would drive those until they need to be replaced and THEN get 32's or something......

All i need is some PICS!

unless you dont mind triming fender just be carefull on tire sizes on a mazda the front fender is differant than a ranger

I should just tear off the whole front bumper and custom fab up a steel one with a winch mount.........just an idea, probably wont ever happen :annoyed:

thats what I want to do but the mazda is so rounded you would have to spend alot of time to make it look right

Here. I put 31s on it so I could fit into the garage.

does a 4 inch lift actually give you 4 more inches between the tire and fender well? Right now stock i have 4 inches, but with a kit would i get a total of 8 (with my 31's)?

The reason you were told that it would look proportionally weird is that pre '93 rangers had smaller wheel wells. Therefore, requiring more lift to fit the same tire size as a '93 on up truck. I have 33's on my 93 Ranger with only 2" lift.

You can fit 31's on a 93+ Ranger with no problems at all stock. Hell, alot of newer Rangers come FROM THE FACTORY with 31's.

31's and a 4" lift would look odd to say the least.

Here's my truck with the ~2" lift ( probably closer to 2.5" rear, and 1.5" front) with 33x12.5x15's on it.

I can get you a better picture if you want.
Just think of that, with more lift, and smaller tires, it isn't going to look good.

That is my opinion though. I would say slap 31's on it the way it is, or do the lift and put on some 33's.

is that the factory lift with the 33

I realize this thread is 7 years old, but I want to revive it because I have the same question. To the OP, did you ever do the lift and keep the 31's? I just bought 31 mastercraft MXT tires and want to put a 4" lift kit on my 94 ranger.

i have 4in lift on my ranger with 31 10.5 bfg AT ko and they fit fine probably could fit some 33s with some front fender trimming mine is a 1993 ranger with a 4.0 only reason i would need fender trimming is cuz i got different wheels with a different offset

I have 31s on my 96 with just a 2 inch front level. Looks great. I would think with a 4 inch lift you may want bigger.

I have a 93 STX on 32's. Levelling coils only. Only rubs the plastic valance. A little trimming will cure that. My son needs new tires so I might give him mine and run 33's. Keep in mind I use my truck for hauling building supplies and such. My wheeling is limited to forestry roads and the like.
