How do the diesel rangers handle the freeway? I've heard they need pretty high RPM's to do 60-80 mph. Is there much difference with the Turbo?

Anything will do 80mph with the rigjt gearing and turbo size.
Isn’t the 2.3 Turbo a 5 speed? Looked like it was just shifted into 4th at 60mph there.Heres 0-60 on a 2.2L perkins..you *might* coax 65-70 out of it but its going to take you 10 miles...

Heres a 2.3L turbo 0-60...

Bout on par with a gas 2.3.

I don't know how I feel about this comment ?Even a 2.9l has a chance of hitting 80.
Depends on how close to ground zero it is.Even a 2.9l has a chance of hitting 80.
Have film. On flat ground, on 31s, 3.73s are effectively reduced to 3.33sDepends on how close to ground zero it is.
