There is a good possibility of that

No not the block adaptor, the remote oil filter mount, where an an line threads into it.

And I forgot to say the hego not functioning was simply the ground and signal out wires were backwards so I just re-pinned the connector and all is well :-)

Ohhh OK sorry I did not really read the build I did not know you had a remote adapter

Tuning went good today, 291 ft lbs of torque to the rear wheels, not too bad coming from 281ci with no boost or N²0 :-)

That's not bad at all. That's pretty good for a sohc

Ill post a video of it running and me driving it later :-)

Still driving it, all is going well and I have not had any problems to speak of.

I will post a video of it driving one of these days.

Looks like a good swap makes me want to get my 6.8L swap in work...

I do have a couple of questions for you though. Could you measure the room between the core support upper panel and the pulley on the alternator and when you ripped the AC out do you think there is a way I could keep it?

Did not remove a/c, the truck never had it (work truck) and there is no way to make it work without:

1. Installing a mini compressor in place of the stock 4.6 one (from a small car)
2. Relocating the compressor
3. Modify the frame
4. Relocate the evap core somewhere else
5. Open the damn windows and listen to the exhaust!!!!

So it seems my luck ran out, apparently braded SS hose can not handle the pressures encountered in a power steering system.........

Also my metric to AN adaptor fittings have developed a leak where they thread into the rack and pump......

So I have some high pressure teflon lined braded SS hose coming along with the special fittings required for this type of hose.

As for the adaptor fittings not sealing, Ford uses a one time use teflon washer to seal the factory hoses. This will not work in my application so I am going to try a combination of a copper o-ring and some expensive ARP thread sealant thats supposidly good to 10,000 PSI.

I will post some pics when I get the parts and start working on it......
