4.6 engine swap

Hi, I'm new here and looking for info on swapping a 4.6 32 valve engine and auto trans into a ranger. I have a good running 93 125k mark8 for the donor and found a clean 94 extended cab body. Any advice would be appreciated, Thanks

Thanks, the mechanical dosen't worry me but I have no idea where to start with the electronics

If you have a complete donor vehicle the wiring is not really that bad. Just graft everything into the new truck.

The biggest hurdle is the sheer size of the 4.6. It's much wider than the 5.0. Lots of custom work wedging that thing in there.

Sell the 4.6 and buy a 460. It will require the same amount of cuttting/hacking
