So thats what the gap looks like? I have seen the little block that measures it... Just not a installed one YET.
 
I'll be full spooling mine........... I've had it in all my other vehicles.

Another person learns that lockers on the street aren't a big deal...

Yeah, when I did my detroit install I expected alot worse based on what I was told. It really isn't that bad except for the odd pop now and then.
 
haha yeah..i have yet to hear any popping really...too much packed snow everywhere lol.
 
The popping is more of a detroit thing then a general 'locker' thing. Looks like your on your way to havin a capable wheelin rig....soon enough you'll be wishing everyone else could keep up.
 
ive heared lockright is junk in the 8.8 sthe springs weaken fast and the lockright locker in my d35 cant even climb a damn boulder without staying locked and it unlocked with a clunk on the highway and i almost hit a concrete divider
 
I had 2 years on my lockright in my 28 spline 8.8 on 35" tires with no problems, took it out and sold it to another member on here when I upgraded to the 31 spline and detroit.
 
maybe it had something to do with his lockright being in the front? im just guessing a front would have a lot more locking/unlocking sequences than a rear...thereby wearing it out faster?
