To those of you who have 4.0l's, 33's, and 4.56 gears, what kind of mileage do you get under normal driving conditions? City mileage, but mostly highway? Any input would be great.
Thanks guys

I get about 14 all around on average runnning on 37s.

Ya, I can't seem to get rid of my heavy right foot and average in the 14-16mpg range on 35's....

are those both highway?? Ill have 33's and im trying to decide whether to use 4.10's or 4.56's

Do the 4.56's, and for me thats about a 50/50 split highway/city.

I average around 18.5mpg mixed driving. I drive like a grandma though, probably piss a lot of people off lol. I'd go 4.56. down the road you'll most likely get bigger tires, then with would definitely be undergeared with the 4.10's.

Check out the TRS fab and offroad section, they're in there.

I've got 4.56's with a 4.0L auto trans running 36" TSL SX's and I get about 14-15mpg in town, probably around 17 on the highway.

I am just wondering when im trying to do 65 will i be at like 3000 rpm. Right now i go like seventy and dont get above 2500. I do 60 at about 2000 i think. I dont want to be doing 60 at 2500 rpm.

BII, 4.56, 33"s, Rebuilt 2.9. I was getting about 17-20mpg...

thats pretty much the reason i went from 4.56 to 4.10 with 33's.now i rev about 2500 at 65 in 5th

If you think you'll want bigger tires down the road go 4.56's.

If you think you'll be happy with 33's, stick with the 4.10's.

I'm running 32's with 3.73's and it's not bad at all, but if I went up to a 33 I'd want 4.10's.
