4.56 gears in a 7.5 with a lockrite

it wouldn't take much to fabricate something that's only good for 2-3 Lb Ft.
that gives me an idea, PVC caps are easy to find & grind.

Yee olde punch press can knock out a sleeve to fit the 1/4" drive. Just stick it in the 1/2" drive socket and bam.
 
I'll "file" that away for later reference. I like doing things the hard way
 
So carving up the gears worked out just fine. She is on the road now and I am in the midst of the break-in procedure. Gears seem to be doing great. I wouldn't hesitate to grind gears again.
