I have a 1999 Ranger 2wd standard cab with a 3.0. originally i was going lift my ranger, but the cost was to much. it was lowered and then i put it back to stock. Now, i am looking at a DJM 4/5 drop kit. i had a springtech 3/5 drop kit, but one of the flip kit brackets got bent somehow and my front ball joints are worn out. I am debating using the 4/5 kit as it comes or replace the 2 in drop spring with my 3 in drop spring for a 5/5 drop. My tires are 225/50 r15s. will these tires fit with either drop with out rubbing? what shocks are recommended? what are your thoughts on a 4/5 drop vs. running it as a 5/5drop ? How hard would it to align either setup? how would the ride be with either setup? thanks for taking the time to read this and help me out.
