Bleach and sand will evently kill it.

Quick question, WHY are you trying to kill it? :icon_confused:

i was scrapping it and wanted to have some fun since i had no use for the engine and nobody wanted to buy it.

That's nuts! Very impressive too. Why did you have to kill it though? You guys don't part them out?

i tried parting it out, i had a thread in parts for sale.

pussy huh....you wouldnt be saying that if I showed you an x-ray of a guy with half of his jaw missing from mouth cancer....not funny.

So on the note, did you kill it yet or is it still running. If so, try a mix of water and salt.

On a side note. How would one go a bout on trying to kill a lawn mower engine? And make it look like it just died. I've tried draining 2/3 cups of oil to be replaced with 2/3 cups of bleach. But the dang thing still runs. Trying to get my dad to get rid of it, but he wants it to last forever. Mower is becoming un-safe, and he has to manually ground the spark plug to shut it off. I'm trying to kill it without him suspecting anything. Once this one dies, he has a brand new mower for him in the shed. Collecting dust for the past 2 years.

Why would you do that??? What about popcorn seeds in the oil filler and intake?

Anyways, when I was a kid, I had this annoying neighbor kid that asked me for some oil for his lawn mower. I said I don't think I have any and then said, wait, let me check. I took an empty oil container and filled it with citranella oil, chlorine, gasoline, water and some dirt to darken the color. I came back and handed it to him, barely holding back from laughing as he poured it in the engine. He went to give the rest of the "oil" back, but being a true friend, I told him to keep it. He later told me about how good the engine ran.

A local high school shop class attempted to change the oil in a transmission. They drained the transmission fluid and actually put the new transmission fluid in the oil filler for the engine. The transmission and engine had afterwards blew.

Try keeping the throttle wide open. The thing will sound like a mean little beast. But why not rebuild it???

He probably pissed in your gas tank afterwards.
