4.0L Exhaust

My exhaust is getting kinda old on my truck and was looking to upgrade it..So i was jw what my choices would be by price and the best sound exhaust out there????

I put the Magna Flow cat back on my 97 last year. It sounds ok , is not to loud,

My 94 came to me with a rotted out muffler on a test pipe . I grafted in a decent cat from my Grand Wagoneer. This is clamped on to the intermediate pipe which dumps into a Walker replacement muffler. The pipe diameter is 3" at the collector down to 2 1/2 at the cat exit to a 2" pipe to the muffler which dumps out under the bed . It is tight and quiet and up out of the way. It was about 65$ in Auto Zone bits. So far, it has passed its 2nd annual safety inspection.

flowmasters sound pretty good on these engines, and come in varying sound levels as well.

Thrush Welded ftw. I'll take a vid tomorrow if I can. Has a real nice tone to it, not too loud, and it only $35 at AutoZone.

well my exhaust just broke the hangers did and where it bolts in by the cat...so should i buy a couple universal hangers and new flange and bolt it back up???

That's what I would do. Or bend up some coat hangers.

flowmaster sounds awesome, and personally i hate magnaflow... ive had two magnaflows one on a 4.0 cherokee and on a 3.0 frontier and theyre not strong, the cherokees cracked from the inlet, and the frontiers blew up... and my flowmaster keep on barkin i love them
