Hello, we are new here. Just bought this truck from a Ford dealer on Saturday. The clutch hydraulics are unusable.... We figure that if the trans has to come out to replace the slave cylinder,we should replace everything in there right now. Any ideas for the best sources for the best, heaviest duty parts to put inside of this bellhousing????? I don't want to remove this trans again:) Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Luk clutch kit (NAPA brand is made by Luk), and I have become quite partial to Perfection hydraulic parts over the last few years. I have put a whole set (do the clutch hydraulics as a set on something that old) in both of my RBVs and have yet to have an issue with any of it, and I can be pretty hard on my stuff.

Yes to Luk
You need a self-adjusting pressure plate, clutch disc, slave with throw bearing, and pilot bearing.
Master is optional since it can be changed without removing transmission

Also replace the rear main seal on the crank shaft, it is not an expensive part and you do have to remove the trans if it starts to leak.
Make sure flywheel doesn't need to be surfaced while it is out
