Yep you read it right. I am currently replacing the 4.0 OHV (pushrod) engine in a 92 Ranger with a 4.0 OHV (pushrod) engine from a 97. I've got the 97 engine rebuilt and ready to install in the 92 truck and I read in the Tech section that because of the Fast Burn heads on the 97 engine u must have the program for the Fast burn heads. My question is it possible to buy a chip for my OBD1 system that has the Fast burn program in it? If so where and from who can I get it. The Tech article says the engine will burn up within 2,000 miles if the proper program is not used. Thanks for any help. Terry
