I ordered the replacement timing chain kit from Ford. Only has one chain. Which one is it for?

A '00 should be OHV, so it is the one and only... goes between the crankshaft and camshaft.

You swapped over to the newer more powerful 4.0L OHC or it is a 4.0L OHV? Both were available in the Explorer

If it was a complete kit, it should have about 4 chains, not 1.

By '02 the OHV was gone in anything with 4drs, the Sports could go either way but they are not very common... could go either way.

Now that he mentions it, I think it is an OHC he is prepping to put into his truck... someone on here was doing that anyway.

Some pics or a part number would help us with which one it is BTW.

It's an SOHC from a sport. I just ordered the tsb replacement kit from ford n it has only one chain in it
