4.0 tear down after miles of boost


stock fuel pressure. thats why i keep the boost down for now. It does great a 5 psi but if you try and turn it up it dosent work. ive been eyeballing craigslistf for FMUs Ive see nthem before for under 20$. I want an adjustable one and then i need a wideband to dial it in.

Stock pressure with 19 lb injectors or 21's?

Once I get my turbo location settled on, and the exhaust setup. I'll be pulling my engine and putting new gaskets on it. Then getting it back in and start on the intake pipes.

If I have to change injectors then while I have it out on the stand would be the time to do it.
 
all i have is 21lb injectors that came wit hmy 01 GT 4.6L motor. STock fuel pressure as of this time and oem fuel pump. Im working on a few things right now in fact. Im building a cowl intake for the newly relocated air filter locatiuon. Im learning to TIG at work so Im taking m ytime to get that done. Im also going to expirement with a larger MAF that came on my 4.6L. I have ideas of also hooking up and auxiliry injecotor in the pre turbo pipe wit ha hobbs switch and using a wideband to tune it. I also don't have my 02 hooked up which cause the ecu to enter a fail safe rich enrichment mode. I used a fancy 10K$$$ diagnostic scanner to check a few things on my setup and the 02 status reports 02 rich even thou the 02 isnt hooked up. Im also making a few other changes and last weekend i put a muffler on now its a silent sleeper I like it this way.
