4.0 swap start

hey i got the 4.0 pulled out of my parts ranger im goin to put new gaskets on it and port the heads/ intake and clean up the motor. then it will be ready to go into my ranger. anything i should be ready for? also im looking to get ride of my mechanical fan and getting electric fans is this a good idea or should i keep the mechanical?

Electrics are nice, try to get Taurus fans, I hear they are the best ones out there.
