What headers are best bang for buck for a 2002 4.0? I seen some nice JBA. I'm not too concerned about the material as long as its not cheap. Just looking for efficiency n cost.

JBA's are great. I have had them on several vehicals for years and they never looked crappy after years of use. They are not really cheap priced, but they are made to last. If you don't bang them up using them expect them to last a long time and keep their finish.

JBA is best. But don't expect to feel any increase in power. In fact, there's a dyno chart comparisons on explorerforum showing about 1hp gain on top with a loss in torque from idle all the way to about 4000rpm. My advice is to look elsewhere for power/efficiency.

Exhaust can help increase power and economy, but it has to be a tuned system and balanced to the intake for optimum (or really any) results.

I'm looking at getting a true cold air intake too ontop of my aftermarket exhaust and tuner

No prob. I plan on doing what swap in 3 to 4 days but I'm also replacing all the timing chains and what not. I'm just trying to get everything on order before the swap so I'm left with intake and headers. I seen some cheap ones on eBay. Not sure of quality materials.

i have pacesetter on my 2.9. i don't have any problems with them, and from what i have read for a cheaper header they seem to be pretty good quality. make sure you paint them though, because the paint thats on them when shipped bakes off

I'm not just talking about the intake ducting. I'm talking about the manifold, and the heads as well. A port and polish would be a good place to start.
