4.0 SOHC Spark Plugs

I'm in the process of changing the plugs on my '04 4.0. The plugs that I pulled (Bosch Platinum +2) are quite a bit shorter than the Autolites I'm putting in (APP5144). I certainly don't want things smashing into each other when I start it back up. Can anybody clarify for me? Everything that I've looked at online say that the 5144s are the corect plug.
