I obviously said I didn't care about the looks. I don't see how headers would be bad for a daily driver, or a vehicle with emissions. Headers for a 99 Ford Ranger are going to have all of the necessary hook ups for the factory emissions equipment, biggest difference is that they are a little more free flowing. As for not being for a daily driver, well I daily drove a 1984 Ford Ranger with headers for 4-5 years with no drive ability issues. Before I got it my family drove it that way for over 10 years with no issues. I'm not so much worried about rising fuel costs, if they get that bad I'll just start riding my motorcycle more.
