I bought this truck alittle over a year ago. Ever since I bought it the engine studders when Im accelerating when the rpms get between 2700-2800. It studders in every gear when engine hits this range so I assume its not the tranny. No check engine light is on. It does eat spark plugs like crazy. I run autolight platinums usually haft to change around every 15000. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

I cant believe with all the knowledge on this page nobody has ever had this problem.

I just now saw your post.

I'd guess it's running really rich or really lean in that range. What do the plugs look like when you have to change them?

How are your fuel pressures?

Plugs look fine, I just start getting a miss when I start it. If I let it go one plug will quite firing all together. Dont know which one it is cause they all look fine. I just change all of them.

As far as fuel pressure I have no idea. Never checkd it.

Check engine light came on one time for 3-4 days. Code reader said it was cam positioning sensor. light went out before I changed it and never came back on.
