so i have the 4.0 swapped in my ranger. now its not starting. it cranks but no starts. it is getting fuel. i put an inline spark tester in and im not getting spark. i had the edis module tested and it tested fine. i put a new crank sensor on and still no start. i have the coil off now and seraching how to ohm test it. i checked all my grounds and they are good. any tips would be great. thanks. its a 1990 ford ranger with a wiring harness from a 1990 4.0 ranger. the engine is from a 93 ranger.

Hook up a test light between the red wire of the coil and any other wire in that connector, then crank the engine and see if it flashes. If it does, get a coil pack.

Got it fixed. Found that the pins in the connector to the engine harness got pushed out. Repaired and started right up
