4.0 motor swap q's help please

i have a 93 ranger which had the 2.3 w a 5spd and i put a 92 4.0 w 5spd in it and for some reaso the fuel management system is not working... i have ignition and everything but i cant get it to fire up. any help will be nice. thanks in advance...

Did you swap the fuel pump?

no the fuel pump is the same. i looked up the part numbers... and i ran direct power to turn the pump on to make sure it wasnt bad. it works but im not getting power to something for the fuel injectors to open up... it seems like the whole fuel system is shut down because i was not getting power to the pump either till i tapped into it to be sure it wasnt a bad pump from sitting..

First things first, Check ALL the grounds associated with the EEC.

ya im going back over all of that agian. i have a couple times already now but it seems that i have them all grounded...

Did the inertia switch get tripped at some point?

no it was never switched off and it is now bypassed anyways...
