4.0 mods

What are my options? i wanna know as much possibilites and ways i can go. torque is my number one priority but horsepower is nice too.

Well I know for a fact an air intake and a tuner will do you a world of good. If you could rig a ram air system up, do it. I'm using the cortex tuner on mine and a spectre air filter, and that alone dropped my quarter times from 16.2's to 15.5's.

Thanks man. Do you know of anybody who makes performance parts for the 4.0 like pistons and rolloer rockers and stuff like that?

I dont think anyone makes roller rockers for the 4.0. One upgrade for rockers and rods would be Delta Cam. It wont really make more power but it will eliminate and prevent lifter tick. Check out Tom Morana Racing. They have some 4.0 stuff.

Why would you remove the factory cold air intake for a ram air?

Why would you remove the factory cold air intake for a ram air?

I've found that at speed a ram air system sucks much colder air. The tests that I've run show a 30 degree drop in temperature due to fresh air getting forced into the filter. But then again, my version of ram air is pvc piping from the grill to the hole in the airbox that the snorkel once was. i never actually got rid of the factory airbox, just modified it to include air being forced into it from the grill.

Hey i want to know if u have tried out the economy tune. I want the cortex but i want to know if the tune does good. How about the other two?
