4.0 liter radiator

Hey guys,

What size is the 4.0 liter radiator? I just bought a 96 ranger that might have had the radiator replaced. the core is only about 1 inch thick and the stock shroud doesn't fit.

Can someone supply a picture of what the stock one looks like.

Go to your parts store and get one for a,
94 Exploder, auto, w/ towing package.

Awesome upgrade, even packed with mud, working it in 4' of mud, my stays cool.

I did have to trim 3/4"-1" off the opening, to clear the pulleys, because its so thick.

That is twice as wide as mine.

So i need to look for the proper radiator

The 4.0 radiator takes many form. In my garage I have a single core, auto trans 4.0 rad, a double core MT 4.0 rad, and a mud-filled 2.9 rad that will drop in place of either.

My 96 had a monster in it.
