I have a 2.3L that hasn't ran in a long time. I've been working on it and have not been able to get spark....

I came accross a freind of a friend that has a smashed but running 92 explorer sport with teh 4.0 (4x4, auto) for $100. I was wondering if this motor would:
A) mount to my cross member (fit without moddification)?

B) Bolt up to my 2.3L 5 speed trans?

I don't mind using the computer form the explorer and everything I need I could just tare out. Any help or tips would be helpfull.

Thanks,
Scott

Can't say for sure myself, but can probably find your answer searching the tech forums and even visiting the "Other engine conversions" section of this forum. Sure someone has already done it by now.

I've searched on these forums for a while. I'll keep searching. Thanks.
Any more help?

If you go to the tech library theres an article on how to do it. Fixing to attempt it myself after reading the qarticle its seems fairly simple.
