So I need a new one..well really just the rubber gaskets that go around where it meets the MAF housing and throttle body. I've found it (part #F37Z9B659H) on eBay, but they want almost $80 for the whole assembly. I've already inquired about only purchasing the gaskets, but they only sell them with the complete unit. AutoZone O'reilly and rockauto don't seem to carry anything of the sort.. Anyone have a magic link to somewhere that sells one? I've completely cleared out 3 junk yards, and all the rubber was horribly deteriorated. Seems like a 22+ year old piece of rubber that's been baking in the junkyard sun for 4 years is literally non existent...
Any help would be appreciated!

Also anyone know where to get motorcraft double platinum plugs for a 93 4.0? I've got regular platinum in there right now, but the sticker on the core support says it wants double platinum..

Yes, your engine uses Waste Spark system so double platinum is recommended, but not required, the double platinum will last longer.
Regular plugs or single platinum will work just fine until they start to wear out on 1 bank.

I don't think the rubber gaskets were ever available as separate parts.
Try looking at Cold Air Intake parts, they attach to the upper intake so should have a gasket the right size, maybe they are sold separately.

Maybe you could make your own with some sheet rubber/inner tube............

Hmm I'll check that out.. would an inner tube be able to withstand the heat?

Just buy the older style gasket (93-94) and use it with a little spray gasket tack.

That's the year I need.. you wouldn't know where or have a link would you?

Hey thanks, I've never heard of Google. That actually is not what I'm looking for. Try to read the post before being sarcastic.

The rubber gasket that goes around the end of the plenum, that is between the plastic and the hose clamp Is what I need. There are make your own gasket sheets I could use for the throttle body. I'm not lazy I've looked. Posting on here is a last resort, not first.

I apologize...I thought you just needed the gasket between the TB and intake.

Just use felt tape around the TB where the tube clamps on.
