Is he saying " This is how you learn "dumb ass" as a subject, or saying " This is how you learn, dumb ass , as in adsm08 is one.

Eh, I have my days. This morning I did something incredibly stupid, and I'm still kicking myself. I got out of bed. Not making that mistake again tomorrow.

After reading it over a few times I think he is claiming that his poor workmanship is part of the learning process, and then calling me a dumbass. I have to disagree, I have never found throwing someone off the deep end with no prior knowledge, no oversight, and no instruction to be instructive in anything except what not to do, and even then its hit and miss. And I have taught a lot of people a lot of things in my time.
