4.0 exhuast

i used to have a 93 4.0 2wd with a flowmaster (one in dual out) i believe it was a 40 series ... sounded great but now i am wondering what to put on my 97 4x4 4.0... i wanna have duals come straight out the back, but i wanted to know if you guys suggest anything that mights sound deeper than a flow 40 series... here is a pic of my truck ....

dynomax cat back is on it now ... but it comes out the stock pipe... i dont think the dynomax is loud enough tho....and i think im going to cut the cats off... what do u guys think?

i think if the cats are functioning properly, you should leave them on.

if you want more decibels, just run straight pipe back from the cats. as for deeper...its a v-6, its only going to get so deep.

I second that, A 40 series is about the deepest your gonna get

And don't think when I said deepest, it was something 'dirty'

yea i got 40s on mine, 2 mufflers and it dumps straight out the back, sounds pretty sick, its the same color as ur 2wd, and i got he same rims as u n love them!!!

I am running a single glasspack,and it sounds great.I agree with wicked sludge leave the cats on,and go straight out.

You cannot remove the cats on an OBDII engine, it will not run right.
