4.0 engine swap

I have a 2000 4x4 auto tranny ranger with a bad motor, and a 94 4x4 manual explorer with a bad body. I would like to swap the motors but I'm not sure what I will need or where to look. any help would be greatly appreciated.

If both are ohv 4.0s. I bealeve all you need to do is swap the intake. All sensors. And front accessorys. And you may have to do something about the exhaust manifolds. But I do believe the long block of both years are the same

The heads and pistons, and I believe the hole for the cam synchro, changed in 95. These changes complicate engine swapping across that year line. The biggest thing is the cam synchro, because as I understand it the sensor itself only works on the style it is for.
