4.0 engine stalls, runs rough hwy speeds

I have a 94 4.0 166,000 miles. I have a check engine light that constantly comes on and goes off. No codes, non egr engine, new cats, plugs, wires, fuel filter, but at hwy speeds will fall on its face on the slightest of inclines. If I let up, then gas it again, usually will pick back up. It also seems sluggish taking off in first. Anyone got any ideas????

could be a lot of things, but I would check all your grounds and make sure they are tight and also check the fuel pressure and fuel filter.
