Hi Any laws about 3rd stoplight brightness?
I have a 2005 FX4 and the light is all red but
has only one bulb i was thinking of adding
2 more as housing has place's for them.
But digging in my junk box i have a old
desk lamp led one it has two rows of very
bright led's and will fit in the light assy.
It's set up for 12vdc too.

Well, IMO the brighter the better for brake lights. I suppose the allowable brightness would depend on your local laws.

I've never heard of a law for brake lights being too bright. You could check out an led one or a stock one modified with led panels.

Sent from the think n' stink.
