Any of you lowriders out there have a 3rd gen Ranger with a supercab and a 4/5 drop? I'm interested in seeing some photo's if you do. I might go that route with my Ranger since it's only 2wd. Although lifting it or selling it still isn't out of the question. I'm a very indecisive person.

If I go low, it would be with a rear flip kit (website I found it on says 4" of drop) and then front lowering springs. I'd cut mine, but I'd hate to cut into a pair of Skyjacker coils to lower :D. And I don't really like the idea of cut springs.

I gotta 5/6 and can send you pics. Don't cut the coils, save up the money and get the beams.

Go with a 3/4 drop or 5/6 and on a side note this forum title should be changed from lowriders to mini trucks :) lol

Agreed.

And Ibeams are the way to go, they will give you 3". Then you can begin cutting or replacing springs for more drop.

Well I was going with whatever drop would fit with a flip kit for the rear. It's either a flip kit, or have my neighbor fab up some custom spring hangars for whatever drop I wish.

with just a flip kit it would be a 2-3 drop,if you get blocks then you can get the 4 in the back

If I lowered I would have to follow through with a cowl hood and bigger rims. :icon_thumby:

Still unsure about lift vs lower. It all depends on what funds present themselves and how I'm feeling when I have those funds.

easy decision..........how much mud do you plan on driving thru?

A. any..... (lift)

B. none.... (drop)
