3rd Gen Factory Fog Lamps

OK, so I don't know about Rangers in the North, but here in Texas, I have only seen one Ranger with Fog Lamps. Now, my question is, are there a lot of Rangers with Fog Lamps in your area? I keep hearing they are very common, but that's not true here in Texas (at least in the area between Houston and College Station). I keep my eyes out and have only seen one Ranger with Fog Lamps (in the Interstate outside of the city, which makes me wonder if it was even from the area)

Are Rangers with Fog Lamps easy to find in your area? I searched endlessly in Junkyards in Houston to find the Valance w/ Fog, but not luck at all. Some Junk yard Managers even laughed at me and told me those never came with Fog Lamps! What's the deal here? Did Ford only sell the Rangers with Fog Lamps in states like Ohio? (I keep looking up rangers with Fog Lamps, and most searches come up in Ohio or some northern state).

(May I add, when I add Fog Lamps, I will go back to those three JY where I got laughed at and show those idiots!, I would also have the only 3rd Generation Ranger in my area with Fog Lamps)

Hey OldJohnny they are common here in North Texas, mine are aftermarket with custom brackets though. I had searched the JYs here and found nothing - but I did not get to every yard or truck at the yards I did. I got a valance off ebay for less than $50 and then a Pro Comp 55 Light Kit. I know it is not factory, but there are some around - if the local route has been exhausted, start check craigslist and ebay also our want ads here at TRS.

Good Luck and show those bastards they DON'T always know it all, hell if I lived in your area I would roll in with ya - LOL.

What the hell, did Ford decide not to sell Trucks with Fog Lamp options in Houston? Well, thanks for the info. So far, I already got the Valance of off Certi-Fit, I got a pair of Brackets from another user in these boards, and now, I'm just waiting on my fog lamps to arrive before I start the wiring.

Once I get it done, I'm driving up to those JY, asking them for Fog Lamps, and when they tell me that they never made those, I will take them out and show them!

Hell, I even know a guy with the STX 2wd and it has OEM fogs.

The 3rd-gen fogs are nice lights too (made by Hella)

Most of the 4WD trucks around here have them, most 2WDs do not.

(guessing those dumb junkyard dudes have never wondered what those two factory connectors that just dangle behind the front bumper are for lol)

I got a question about the brackets you guys used, i have the valence and the fog lights but dont know how to mount them so that they are not attached to the actual valence thus dont bounce up and down on the road. how did you guys make or where did you guys buy the brackets?
