3G and P/S swap, pulleys,brackets and routing.

i have a 83 ranger ill be doing 2.3 turbo swap in it from a 86 merkur.
my 83 ranger is a base model plainjane 2.3 4 speed no power steering or power brakes.

well i want to add a 3g alternator and power steering to my carbed 2.3 for the time being untill i do the fuel injected turbo swap later this year, id like to do the 3g and p/s swap know just so thats one less thing to figure out later.

so i know there are a few different brackets and pulleys for the alternator and power steering for the 2.3 over the years and from other models, so what works?

Just get a bracket off a 2.3 from the same generation. You can use the new alternator on the old brackets. We just did this on my dads '84 2.3 4x4. Its really easy to wire in the new alt as well.

Anyone do a 3g swap and swap to a serpentine belt setup from a v belt setup,if so any info?

well since i made this post, i have done the 2.3 turbo swap along with a p/s and serpentine belt swap also.
still want to do a 3g swap, here is what my current set-up looks like, this is not a actually pic of my trucks set up,but this is how its routed and brackets.

looks like I'm going to need the 3G alternator with a 7inch ear spacing.
