SO NOT AS TO HIJACK THIS THREAD ANY FURTHER PLEASE PM ME IF YOU STILL DON'T GET IT
Nope, you were the only one who "missed" my point.

Most of us don't buy all our parts from a catalog like you do. Little things like money and life kind of get in the way of doing what you do in our case.
"like i do" ? ok another "missed point" i don't buy parts from jegs or summit but using them for their comparison means that i buy from them?
god would a moderator or admin just please delete my profile? so i don't keep coming here against my better judgement, apparently the members of this forum are too smart
it was an "apples to apples" comparison nothing more. (but someone "missed" that, was it me.....nope)
now i could list phone numbers of jed, and bubba, and old man joe that have broken down fords in their fields or parts stuffed under their workbench but how would that be an accurate comparison? no wait....i
"missed the point" nope it was one of you again
you don't know me, where i get parts, or how i build engines so din't assume for a second that you have the first clue
now i made my first statement from experience of building 390's, compared to my experience of building 289's 302's, 351w's, 351c's, 351m's, 460's, added to that my experience of building gm 2.8, 3.1, 3.4, 3.8, 4.3, 5.7, 383's 409's, 454's, 502's and i even rebuilt a gm 572 last year, and a dart 640 cube chevy too
and ford 2.5 4 cyls, zetec 4-cyls, mitsubishi 1.5's, 1.6's, 2.4's and a handful of other imports
i have built and overhauled over 100 engines. so now i am going to do what you did and assume that i know you........you haven't built 100 engines, you havent built 10. you haven't supported your family by building engines. and yes in doing so building them the absolute cheapest way possible puts more food on the table for my family
what i said was true, i "missed" no point
