36"s on bulletproof d28

Yeah a D28's only chance of survival comes by way of leaving the hubs in the "free" position lol.

or by removing the entire thing and hanging it above your mantle. although i'm sure dust settling on it would start snapping axleshafts eventually.

I've been running 35s on my 28 for a few months now with no complaints from it, even with 2 full loads of fire wood and fighting ruts to get out of the wood splitting area. But it is a matter of time before I swap to a d35 with 44 knuckles.

i know this is older....

but still funny

I have wheeled an '84 B2 on 36's, did not have any axle breakage:thefinger:

And as anyone who has wheeled with me knows, I use more throttle than thought:icon_hornsup:

Mine did not live long enough to break the axle, had a "small" accident....:shok:

My trailer jack-knifed and the B2 came off sideways:bawling: That was the end of that toy

you guys do(did) have the advantage of less worry...from all 45 of your horsepowers, on the occasions when they do make it to the front wheels with some sort of traction....a 28 can take a bit of that.

but i have seen healthy 2.3's destroy healthy 7.5 and d35 stuff with 33-35 in tires when pushed to the line....

and seriously, when welded properly, the 28 can take some serious shit short term.. not easy to find parts in most areas these days though
