Will the stock axles hold up to it or should I just stick with my 33's. I want a taller tire and i a going to buy gears to accommodate the size tire I plan on running, 4.56 on 33's, 4.88 on 35's.

I don't wanna have to worry about breaking every time I go out.

Thanks

I'm running 36" TSL/SX's on my D35, running 4.56's.

The only mod i'm running is the full circlip mod on the u joints of the shafts and running genuine spicer 5-760x u joints. Never had a shaft or u joint failure yet. Been that way for 3 years now.

I'd recommend 5.13's for the 35's.

With a few rather low-$$$ mods (Jeep hubs, Spicer u-joints, etc.), the D35 and 28spl 8.8" should be fine with 35s (Look through the Axle Upgrade sticky in the Axles section).

A few guys here have run 38s on these axles without much issue. IMO, I think that's starting to push it a bit though.

Alright, I will look into it.....Maybe I will just plan on upgrading all of that at the same time as when I put in the gears.

Thanks guys

My front end is welded and has held up fine under my 4 dr exploder. I am running warn aftermarket hubs and have my u-joint caps tack welded. 35 inch tires too.
