If he already has the 5.0 in the Explorer, it will bolt up and work fine.
Which brings me to this question... I am assuming you have the 4.0... in which case a 5.0 swap would be MUCH easier since you can use stock parts. If you already have the 5.0 it would be kind of counter productive to put a 351 in it instead of just building up the 5.0 unless you are planning on doing a lot to the 351.
