ok so i just purchased an 85 351w ho with a c6 for my 93 ranger 4.0 and was wondering if it was required to use a dual sump pan or if i could use a rear sump pan...thanks for any info

Depends on how low you want your motor to sit...If you want it low, then you might want to grab a dual, but then again, the rear sump you have may work....

ok thanks ill go with the rear sump cause its about 1/4 the price.lol...and one more question im goin from an injected 4.0 to a carbed 5.8 so do i just remove my computer or what

You will also need to either bypass the fuel pump in the tank or get a fuel pressure regulator...

You will need the dual sump pan. No two ways about it. A 302 doesn't even fit with the truck pan. Pan contacts the steering linkage.

That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure...Thanks for chiming in baddad :icon_thumby:
