Ok, well, I'm new here. I have a 1996 Ranger. Reg. cab and 4 cyl. :icon_bounceblue:

I have my plans, (prerunner style) and I wanted to know, 2 inch lift, and fiberglass fenders from mcneil racing, would it clear 35x12.50x17 tires. Im removing the bed, so I surely wont have fitment issues in the back.

With the right gears, sure. No reason you can't run 35's on a 2.3.

if your standing still it will clear but bumps and other hazards are gunna cause some issues. and make sure to gear the rear end before you start putin those 35's on

its like tryin to pull a 30 foot 6,000 lbs trailer with a stock single cab 2.3l without the proper gears

yeah, im aware of the gearing issue. I think ill be going to the junkyard to grab a set of 4.56 gears (i believe thats the ratio). But remember, thats with fiberglass fenders along with a 2" suspension lift. What about a 3" body lift also? How can I make a body lift without having to but the kit?

manual trans ....513 gears

they will fit with the right fenders and wheel backspacing and some good bumps.

no one has answered me yet :annoyed:

Read your original post. You didn't ask a question. Yet, you have the gall to be annoyed.

I work on this with my kids all the time. Be clear; be concise; be audible; be polite.

sorry if you thought I was rude. didnt mean to. and is that wat the smiley meant? I thought it matched lol. But yeah, basic thing is, will my tires clear for everyday driving (maybe take some potholes on purpose lol) with the fiberglass fenders and a 2" suspension lift?

These are McNeil Offroad fenders with 35's and approx 8"of lift....... Plenty of clearance, especially if you move the suspension ahead 1-1.5".
