I have a 96 ranger and a 4" lift kit with f-150 spacers. I want to put on bfg 35's. My question is what actual size are they and will this destroy my front end pieces. Im going to offroad but nothing to crazy. any help appreciated. thanks

If you have the Dana35 frontend (you should if it's 4.0L V6), it should be fine with 35" tires.
A set of Jeep hubs and Spicer 5-760X u-joints in the shafts should improve it's strength a good degree further.

With 4" lift and spacers you may need to trim the fenders a bit though.
Also, you should regear the axles too with tires that size.

Well i will regear eventually.. however now i dont have the money. prolly 4.56 gears. now i have 3.73's. Will this totaly suck with that?? or just be bearable?? still slightly offroadable?. not like rock climbing and stuff just trails

if your not gonna wheel to hard then i think the gears should be fine. i have the 4.0 with 33's and a 4" lift with 3.73's and i really have no complaints

I think im goingto get 33's and save to re gear..... 35's would look sexy tho... pus i mite add a body lift to put on 35's

Yeah...gearing is gonna be your biggest problem.

Stick with a set of 33's for now.

Another option would be stick with 32's for the street, then have a set of 35's on seperate rims to slap on when you go to wheel......

I think the best gearing, performance wise, for 35's would be 4.88's, 4.56's would be ok though.

Yeah, 4.88s is better for 35s (you didn't mention what engine you have, you'll want 4.88s with the 33s too if it's a 2.3 or 3.0L).

He's got a 4.0, 4.88's for 35's and the 4.56's would be good for 33's

well your gonna have to do more than some fender trimming for 35's. i have 35's with a 6 in. lift. i have fiberglass fenders but now my tires scrub on the metal apron behind the wheel wells when i hit dips hard. if you get 33's you will be much happier (even though they dont look as good)

96 Red Ranger.... 32's

You mentioned in the 32"s post... you have some, you asked where i'm at, I'm in Florida, Do you want to sell your 32"s?????

How much????? & where are you at?

What kid are they, and are they 32x11.5x15?
