okay, i wanted a set of 33x10.50r15 bfgoodrich a/t's for about a year now. finaly, i have enough money to get them, and what happens? they are on national back order! fack!!!! i called 23 different places, local and internet! no one has em! called bfgoodrich, not going into manufacturing for a month, but still wont be enough to fill current backorders! also, i have a set now,
235's, the best wearing tire ever, and decent offroad, and in winter! read all the reviews about 6 months ago, everyone loves em! looked at the reviews today, everyone hates em! did they start making them worse? saying the get horrible wear, 25,000 miles only, before people were getting 100,000 miles out of them! mine i bought used with 55,000 miles on them, got about half left!
also the bfg mud terrains are on backorder, not for as long though, but i can get a set from tirerack in stock. i want a tire thats at least decent off road, but is really good on road. does anyone have mud-terrains, how noisey on the highway? how many miles will i get out of them? are they okay on the highway, or rattle my teeth out? my main concerns are miles they will last and noise. i know the tires are awesome off road but dont know how they are on road..... and the only reason i want 10.50 is because i have 7.5 inch wide rims that i really like and dont want to buy different ones. anything over 10.5's i need 8 inch wide. and, i want to be able to steer on the street!

anyone else make decent tires in this size? i saw medalist mud kings, they look good, but dont make that size! im looking for something less than $160 a piece! remember mileage is key!!! along with semi aggressive tread!!!!! thanks, Pillen.:bye:

ya im looking to get the BFG a/t or m/t 31x10.5x15 here in barrie ontario and they are backed up to, so im trying to find a diff pair that as good to.

they didnt start making them worse, you will always find a few people who dont like them, the ATs have a 55k mile warranty on them so just make sure they record your mileage when you buy them. MTs will be noisier but the BFGs arent bad, toyos are probably the best riding MT IMO.

yeah, but there is like 10 pages in the last two months on tirerack. none of them say anything good! it worries me.:fie:

You can try pro comps AT's they have a 50k mile warranty i was happy with mine

are they at all off road capable?:icon_confused:

thanks for the help everyone! KEEP the posts COMIN'!!!!

thats probably because the only people who write reviews are the ones who arent happy with them. i have a brand new set on my truck, so does my dad, and so do like 90percent of the guys that i work with (discount tire) in our entire region of 18 stores idk whats up with the people on tire rack but i havent heard any negatives about them lately.

the first 20 pages are all good! and then, last 10, all bad, makes me think they are crap now.

I was gonna get Bfgs but i drove my buddies truck which is the same as mine but with Bfg A/Ts as i was driving i noticed they like to spin alot so i keep lookin and found that Maxxis bravo 751 are a good cleaning tire that wear good and are 6 ply

where can you buy maxxis? your the third person ive hear that said they are good.

any body know about bfg mud terrains? loud on highway? mileage? they seem to be my next option, i kind of want them now. i have no patience.

a lot of my buds have them they liked um at first awsome tire, after 20k they all started wearing werd and got realy noisy , almost like my swomps, but not that noisy. i would go with pro comp, maxxis or dickseepeck fun country IIs, the fun countrys are really nice tires. you will like the bfg m/t at first then down the road you wont. and there side walls suck, they are so easy to rip holes in.

I bought my Maxxis form a local tire guy i wanna say it was $650 for 33x12.5 and that w/ mount balance

As far as Bfg M/T they are kinda loud and my buddie has a set on older tundra and has 40000 miles on them and still lookin good :dunno:

Goodyear MTR, very capable offroad, pretty quiet onroad, will easily wear past 50k miles.....

they do, trust me i ran them before boggers on my old ranger, they dont list half what they have size wise on there website
