- Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
I'd like to remove the sketchy-in-snow kendas off my truck and replace them with a 33" tire. There's all sorts of 33/10.5/r17 tires out there but the overwhelming majority of them seem to be 10plys.
10plys translate into 15-16mpg in a new Ranger though. I'll purchase no heavier than a 8ply for the sake of fuel costs.
All I've found is the Goodyear wrangler mt/r. Looks like it might be just a touch better than my current mud terrains in the snow.. but.. probably not 1000$ better.
