hey guys i know you probably get this all the time but i have an 03 fx4 super cab with 2 inch blocks and stock keys cranked all the way, can i fit 285 75r 16s (32.8)tires on ?

they'll fit, might have to remove the mud flaps on the front tho, and they'll probably rub

Not a good idea to crank them all the way up...you will cause suspension issues and the ride will be pure crap....do it the right way. Do a search on this site....way too many post on this subject....you will read about what you can do to make your Ranger a better riding truck by using the correct parts in it.

you're going to destroy those tires, and your fenders

the 07 (like mine) with 33x12.5's hit the body when i flex, with the block, and a 3" body lift, i've since put expo leafs, and 6400 shackles on, which didn't help the situation any, though when i did that, i took the blocks out, because the shocks weren't long enough... so once i get a chance to cut the shock mounts off, and re-locate them, the blocks (with a little modification) will be going back in

the 4th gens require a 3" body lift and moderate torsion crank to fit 33x12.5's, the front will be fine, the rear will rub while flexing...

If you have then cranked all the way or even close to all the way...say goodbye to your CV boots and joints. A friends ram 1500 had them cranked sky high and cant keep a set of CV's good for 7000 miles.

^^ +1, because the rangers now use a live axle setup (essentially your hubs are permanently locked, so your cvs, diff, and front drive shaft always turn) they will wear out due to the angle of the cv's being farther than what it is expected to see...

additionally, the angle of your control arms will put extra stress on your ball joints, tie rod ends, and even your steering rack... a 2" crank is the max recommended... now this of course is all relative to how high it was before... essentially, you don't want your lower control arms going over a certain angle, once you hit that angle it really starts to wear... any crank is going to add the stress on the parts though...
