alright, so i have a 1994 ranger xlt supercab 4.0 5 speed, and i want to put 33's in the front, right now i have 31x10.5 r15 and i have a 1inch body lift in the truck, if i put a leveling kit in the front with f150 coil spacers, would i be able to fit the tire? and what size rim should i use. (the 33s are 33x12.5 r15)
should i go with 15x8 or 15x10?

alright, i just know that most people say you need a 3in body lift to clear them but with a 2in coil spacer and a 1in body lift essentially that is 3in but i just wonder how bad the rub will be, i use the truck as my DD

What is your stock gearing? and do you plan on upgrading at some point? I had 3.73s with my 33's, and it made 4th and 5th gear useless.

It sounds like you're only planning on putting 33's in the front. Tell me I'm reading something wrong because you already know that you cannot mix tire sizes like I seem to think you might be doing...

You only want to add 33 inch tires to the front?? You are going to run 31's on the rear...for what purpose is this?? I have never seen anybody to this before. It might look might strange...lol. I would not run a wheel wider then 8 inches up front without much lift as you might be hitting something up front and just check for clearence of course before you go driving off somewhere.

It would look strange yes, but worse it would blow up the transfer case the first time the truck goes into 4WD...

no sorry, i want to put all four of the tires to 33s but i know that the rear ones would fit, sorry for leaving that out haha but i have 3.73s now and i want to upgrade them at some point but not immediately, i was just wondering if i could fit them all on the truck, i know you cant mix tire sizes

Based on what's been said above, a little you should be able to clear 33's with a 2"TT.

3.73's will work but they will be slow-I ran 3.73's with my 265/75's and it was a dog off the line and had no passing power on the highway...

with my 2" lift on my `93 I went with 32" worked out great..

I dunno... hmmmm... :icon_idea:

hahahahhaha very true, but he fit with a 2in body lift why cant i fit with a level and a 1in body lift?

I had no BL or level kit on my truck and I got 33's under my truck with no rubbing. I then put on a 1" BL and am getting my t bars cranked to level my truck so 33's should fit nicely.

4.10's are standard in Automatic Tranny FX4 Rangers and likely a few other's as well..
