Looking to do a 4 inch suspension lift. I have the stock wheels on my 94 Ranger. They are 15 in. deer hooves. Not sure what the rest of the sizing on this wheel is so if somebody could enlighten me, that would be great. I have access to a set of 32x12.50 15s. My question is: can if fit these tires on my stock wheels? If so, what issues(if any) will I have?? Thanks in advance.

Jeff

they will fit. but they are a little small. the wheel should be 15x7. for a 12.5 you really want an 8 or 10" rim. 8 if you are doing more off roading so it holds the bead better

They will fit with the lift, they will fit on the wheel however you will need to run lower psi

Is it wise to run 12.50 on a 7" wide rim? What all does this effect, what can happen, and what will cause it to? Lol thank, i eventually wanna get a wider wheel but i too have stock 15"s

it will pull the sidewalls in so far you only run on the center of the tire so you need to drop down the pressure to use all of the tread and get even wear

That just sounds complicated. I guess I'll have to save a little more. What's a good tire to run on stock wheels with a 4 in lift?

i would go 33x10.5's. thats what i'm gonna do but on an 8" wheel with 3.75 backspacing to give it a wider stance. 4" with 33's is a good combo. google some pictures if you want

Not sure yet if I wanna go that big. Would there be any transmission or rear end issues if I go 32 or 33?

I am on 32's with stock gearing and a 3.0 and it isnt bad at all, 33's wouldn't be too bad either

I would definitely regear to either 4.10's for better highway mileage or 4.56's for better all around performance. If it was the 4.0 I would say 4.10. Other than off road performance and mileage differance 33's wont do any damage

Well that may be another project down the road. For now I'm looking for the best deal whether new or used tires. Preferably new, but I have seen some good deals on used lately. We will just see what tire size I get the best deal on.

As for off road issues and gas mileage. What can I expect from the bigger tires? I don't get to go off road much because of school and work, but when I do I don't get too crazy. Really just looking for a better stance. With some light offroading. Thanks for all the help guys.

Jeff

I would get 32x11.5 tires, they would fit on the wheel fine, and for DD the 33x10.5 would work fine too. I get about 12-14 MPG when I drive around town, and im pretty heavy on the gas, I wouldnt really worry that much about regearing
