31 spline 8.8 posi rear needed

So I settled for a S613B from a 95-01 Explorer. Posi with disc brakes, not sure of spline count but will make it all work

If you're swapping the whole axle in, you don't need to worry about spline count. That's just an indication of the slightly stronger axles with the 31 splines.

This. ^ It'll be a31 spline from an Explorer. But the only thing that matter when swapping the whole thing is getting the springs on top for the Ranger and mounting the shocks. I've been happy with my RuffStuff simple swap kit.

It was easy to setup. I set the axle on jack-stands and rotated it till the stock perches were level on the bottom the set the new ones on top level. I should've adjusted for the longer shackles I'm using but I didn't consider that at the time. You can actually use Explore shock mounts if ya want. I just welded the RuffStuff parts on roughly where the 7.5 parts where width wise. One ended up being right on top the Explorer sway bar mount.
