Exactly how much swearing can I do on this site?
I spend the dough on good hydraulic lines. Fittings with the appropriate threads for my relocation adapters. 3500 psi lines ought to be enough. 90 degree spinable fittings on the filter end and straight in on the engine end. The adapter at the engine comes out at 90 degrees so it's great for clearance. Should have put the spinable fittings at the engine end though. Anyway I've got them in,,, but now the engine adapter has a tiny crack where the fitting goes in.
SO I'm going to clean it up and use some friggen JB weld. If anyone is curious about the cost, the 3' lines with the fittings installed about $90. NO hose clamps! It was a little hassle putting it in while installed in the truck but not undoable. AND after a second look at the area involved, the PH16 wouldn't fit. Go figure. I just had to try for myself. Thanks for all your input guys. I'll try to find a pic of the adapter I have. I've got to find another anyway.
