Hey guys, new to the forum. I've been lurking for a while and you guys have the ultimate source of info for rangers. Anyways, I'm gathering parts for a swap and have my eyes on a 96 f150 302 for very cheap. I plan on switching it to a foxbody dual sump pan but what about the oil dipstick? Do the f150s have the same style or do I have to drill the block? I would prefer this method over having it on the front of the engine so it's an exact"mustang style" engine as i plan to use mustang accessories as well. By the way- my truck has perfect running a/c and would like to keep that. Can I use all mustang accessories and retain my 1989 rangers A/c? Thank you and sorry for the essay

Ford Racing makes a chrome dipstick and tube set for a foxbody pan. Summit or Jegs have them, about $30 for both when I got mine.

Wow I've read that article before but it slipped over my head every time until now. Its looks like I can reuse my stock steering and a/c with v8(mustang?) Brackets and either go with a v6 l or v8 alt and brackets. Looks like I can use stock f150 oil pan and dipstick as well. Thank you!!!
